Bio :Mrs. Achia Nila is the founder of Women In Digital - Empowerment through Technology. As a skilled professional of digital production; she has set a remarkable footprint in the emerging technology market of Bangladesh. She is a computer engineer who designed a technical curriculum for women in digital. <br> <br> She has served in some of internationally recognized organizations such as Dell, Microsoft, HP, Epson, Colgate, HillsPet, J&J, HTC, HSBC, Vodafone, Sony, Unilever, Betfair, and Nokia etc. As a local product, she successfully launched Maya apa Mobile application. She specializes in IT product development (like, Software, web, mobile app and game) and Product management, project management, team-leading etc. Now she is focused on Blockchain and cyber security. <br> <br> She has joined the Women Who Code as a Country Director and the world wide web foundation as a tech consultant and researcher. <br><br> She has arranged the “National Hackathon for Women” 1st time in Bangladesh even in South Asia and many tech competitions for women. Her organization runs an accelerator program for women named “Digital Innovation Challenge for Women (DICFW)”. Including the FemTech challenge, she has launched different accelerator programs in Bangladesh and Nepal. She works as a startup mentor and advisor for local and international startups. <br><br> Her organization declared September as ”Cyber awareness month for women”. <br><br> In 2019 she was selected for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in the U.S. The International Visitor Leadership Program is designed to provide foreign leaders and scholars with the opportunity to meet American colleagues and become better acquainted with the United States, its culture, and its people. One of the program's major goals is to promote the development of friendly relations between the United States and other countries of the world. This is the top prestigious program from the United States Department. Her Topic was “ Fostering Incubators for Economic Growth and Development” <br><br> In 2020 she also received an Acumen fellowship. As a sector expert, she represents Bangladesh at WOW London, Invited by British Council, 2020 <br><br> In 2021 launched a new project “Training for the Trainer” and 1st course was blockchain. 5 members took this training including her.
