The nationwide coding boot camp for women has kicked off at UIU with Women in Digital and AnitaB.org, with over 400 students registering for the blockchain workshop. This is awesome and a good start. The organization was established in 2013, having trained over 20,000 women in various technology domains across Bangladesh.

More than 15,000 women are currently employed in diverse organizations. To enhance women’s participation in the technology sector, the organization undertakes various initiatives annually.

This year, in collaboration with AnitaB.org, the organization is conducting a nationwide coding bootcamp exclusively for women, starting with a blockchain workshop.

Founder,  MD & CEO Achia Nila said, The coding camp, led by women coders from Women in Digital, will kick off through a blockchain workshop. Hosted at the United International University campus, it marks the initiation of the first coding bootcamp for women. The program will span the entire country over the next year.

Women in Digital invites interested organizations to connect for participation in this empowering initiative.
