Women in Digital, an organization dedicated to women entrepreneurs, organized two workshops on 9th December and 23 December on cyber security and cyber-related issues at its Mohammadpur office in Bangladesh capital Dhaka. Acknowledging the unique challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in the cyber world, WID hosted the workshop.

Achia Nila, the founder of Women in Digital, highlighted the prevalence of cybercrimes and bullying within their community and across the country.

She underscored the importance of raising awareness to ensure everyone's safety and the need for cyber awareness initiatives, especially for women entrepreneurs.

Over the past three years, the organization has supported over a thousand women through diverse cyber assistance programs, forging direct partnerships with the Bangladesh Police. Since 2013, WID has concentrated on bolstering women's financial empowerment via technology, launching multiple projects. The organization focuses on enhancing women's financial empowerment through technology, initiating various projects since 2013.

Women in Digital has been actively providing technology-related training to women, aiming to create a diverse and safe digital community.
