Around the world, 2021 has emerged as one of the most challenging years in many of our lifetimes. In the past year, the world has endured multiple challenges, including a pandemic that has spurred a global economic crisis. Eventually, we all recognize the value of technology and how it may assist us to advance our professions since this time. Women in Digital, inspired by this idea, have launched an initiative to train up to 500 girls in digital skills. This project is named "Digital Skills for all" and this time we received funding from 'EQUALS - The Global Partnership for Gender Equality in the Digital Age and supported by CapeTownScienceCenter(CTSC), Giz, and Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
'The EQUALS Global Partnership for Gender Equality in the Digital Age' is a committed group of corporate leaders, governments, businesses, not-for-profit organizations, academic institutions, NGOs, and community groups around the world dedicated to promoting gender balance in the technology sector by supporting equality of access, skills development and career opportunities for women and men alike.
"Women in Digital (WID)" is dedicated to promoting women's and girls' education and empowerment through technology. Because we believe without financial establishment women's empowerment is not possible. Based on this concept, we are taking distinguishing accomplishments for our Asian Females and involving all the industrial frontrunners with us.
In this project, we provide 5 courses, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Photography, and Basic Web Design & E-Commerce. Now we have 300 girls enrolled in our Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, and Photography courses along with remarkable instructors. We anticipate starting new batches on Basic Web Design and E-commerce as soon as possible and have more than 200 Participants ahead scheduled.
