Do you have revolutionary digital ideas or products? Join us in the Fem Tech Challenge 2021!

EMK MakerLab, in partnership with Women in Digital, is organizing the FemTech Challenge to encourage female Techprepreneurship enthusiasts to solve social problems through technology.

No matter whether you are an entrepreneur, employee, student, or simply an active citizen, FemTech Challange is about the belief that instead of talking about issues, we should do something about them. Submit your idea/project in the Fem Tech Challenge. The competition is for Bangladeshi women interested in digital innovation.

Program timeline

Interested participants can register before 05.00 pm on 15 December 2021.

Selected Teams/individuals will be participate for the competition.

On 24 December 2021, top teams will participate in the final pitching round.

First prize - 25,000 BDT

Second prize- 15,000 BDT

Third prize- 10,000 BDT

Mentoring and grooming sessions from renowned leaders

Guidelines:

Your entry should include:

Participants full name, mailing address and phone number. If you're submitting as a group, also mention the name, email and phone number of a contact person
Group members can be maximum Five (05) person.
A project/idea brief (summary) must include: individual/team background, goals, target audience and size, and plans for rollout and language support. You may also include screenshots or other images of your project in your summary, if applicable. The summary should be no longer than 2,000 words and can be submitted either in the body of your email, or as a link or attachment.
App installation and usage files (attached or as a separate URL), along with instructions for installation and usage, if necessary.
Optional: You may also choose to submit a video about your project. Your video should be no longer than 5 minutes and must be included as a link (no attachments).
